Robert Henry Barker and his wife, Jane Frances Martin Whitelam, came to America from their home in Hull, England in the mid-1880s and settled in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. All four children were born in Philadelphia. He was the father of Robert W. Barker ("Robbie"), Ellen Susan Barker (Mrs. Ralph Grover Beyer), Anna Barker Brochard and Frances Barker Doyle. He was survived by seven grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren.
His funeral service was conducted at his residence at 61-65 Austin Street, Rego Park.
