Services for James McCraw Daves were held at the Gooseneck Tabernacle officiated by Rev. J.P. Stevenson, pastor of Oak Street Baptist Church.
Mr. Daves had lived in the Gooseneck community for a number of years moving here in 1915.
He was preceded in death by two children - Lee Daves in 1890 and Arthur Daves who died in 1902. Only one of his three children lived to maturity.
