Felton Robert Cornwell, Jr. passed away August 13, 2014 at the age of 62. He was born in San Luis Obispo, California, but raised in Tacoma, Washington.

Felton was graduated from Franklin Pierce High School and attended Olympic Community College in Bremerton, Washington. Felton was a member of St. John Baptist Church. Felton lived with chronic illness throughout his adult life. In spite of his debilitating illness, he made friends easily and was well-liked by all who knew him. Felton loved sports and ran on his high school and Community College cross-country and track and field teams. He loved music, especially rhythm and blues, reading his favorite "Jet" magazine, and eating fast food.

The youngest of five children, Felton was preceded in death by his parents, Lelia E. Allen and Felton R. Cornwell, Sr., and two sisters, Lelia M. Cornwell and Felteen R. McDowell.

Felton is greatly loved and missed by his sister Felicia Gaskins (William), Pullman, Washington, brother W. Don Cornwell (Saundra), Brooklyn, New York, nieces, nephews, cousins, and caregivers.

A private graveside service and interment will take place at Bonney-Watson-Washington Cemetery, SeaTac, Washington. The family wishes to thank all the health care professionals and caregivers who provided care and understanding to Felton and the family during his final days. Kimball Funeral Home of Pullman, Washington is caring for the family.
