Mac Ervin - died May 30 2005

62 year old Mac Ervin of Smithville died Monday at his residence. He was a retired Nissan employee and a member of the New House Missionary Baptist Church. The funeral will be Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Chapel of Love-Cantrell Funeral Home. Virgil Hibon, Jr. and Mike Clayborn will officiate and burial will be in the Jefferson Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe and Lillie Mae White Ervin; four half brothers, W.B. Cantrell, Harlon, Alvie, and Alton Ervin; and two half sisters, gertha Braswell and Ruby Conway. He is survived by his wife, rebecca Jones Ervin; a daughter and so-in-law, Kim and mark Violet; a son and daughter-in-law, Doug and Barbara Ann Ervin; four grandchildren, Hunter and Spencer Stanfield, and Lindsey and Hayden Ervin; two sisters, Betty mae Wilson and JoAnn Pittman all of Smithville. One half brother, R.J. Ervin and a half sister, Mayzella Thompson both of Nashville. Love-Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 10:00 a.m.
