Mrs. W.T. Hiatt, who in the late 60's with her husband, occupied what is known as the Beeler farm, north of this city, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Ella Miller, on Wednesday last, Feb. 12, 1908, aged 76 years. She is survived by six children; John W., Will S., J.T., and Mrs. J.M. Clarke, Mrs. D.J. Hoover, and Mrs. Ella Miller; 28 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren-a most remarkable family tree.
She and husband were wed and favorably known by the traveling people, having established the "Hiatt House" in Mound City in 1874, which they conducted for over 25 years.
