Mrs. Sarah S. Beach, the wife of one of Hartford 's best known citizens, Mr. George Beach of 31 Farmington Ave., died suddenly at her residence yesterday morning. Last Friday she was apparently well and called as usual upon her friends, but she was struck with apoplexy and although apparently in full possession of her mental powers, was unable to speak from that time.
Mrs Beach was the youngest daughter and the last survivor of the family of Mr Cyprian Nichols, a prominent citizen of Hartford 30 years ago. Mrs Beach was a sister of Mrs. Isaac. Toucey.
