Wilmyrth Faith "Wilma" Hoffman passed away peacefully Wednesday, August 27, 2014 in Houston, Texas. She was born July 24, 1932 to Leopold and Irene Zimmerman in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Hoffman was a native of Houston and was known as "Wimpy" to all of her neighbors.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father; husband Ervin Adolph "Derby" Hoffman; brother Donald Ray Zimmerman; and her sister Zella Joy Zimmerman. Wilma is survived by her brother Zeke Charles "Smokey" Zimmerman.
Wilmyrth was a warmhearted person, she loved her family dearly and enjoyed the simpler things in life, she liked trying new restaurants and traveling –especially road trips. Wilma was a happy person who was always laughing and had a great sense of humor herself. Although she is gone, her memories and life lessons will live in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M. with a Funeral Service Saturday, August 30, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. and Interment to follow. All services are under the direction of Woodlawn Funeral Home and Woodlawn Garden of Memories.
