Relatives received word recently of the March 15 death of Herbert Hohenstein, 67, at his Roscoe, Ill., home. Funeral services were held March 19 with the burial at Roscoe. He was raised in the Cannonville area and attended Cannonville School. He was the son of the late Peter and Mary Hohenstein. He leaves beside his wife and family, two sisters, Mrs. Elsie Fields of Granton and Mrs. Gladys Palchik of Hatfield; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Ruby (Hohenstein) Krejci.
