June B. Barnett, 87, of Owensboro, Kentucky died Wednesday, August 27, 2014, at Signature Healthcare-Hillcrest in Owensboro. She was born June 1, 1927 in Butler County, Kentucky to the late Ferney and Onnie Bailey. She retired after 38 years of employment with General Electric Company and was a former member of Seven Hills Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer E. Barnett on December 16, 2005; and by brothers, Ivan Bailey and Johnny Bailey.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Hugh F. Hunt, Jr. and Karla Hunt of Owensboro; a stepson, Theodore Hunt of Maine; two grandchildren, Nathan Hunt (Catie) and Jacob Hunt both of Owensboro; and three great grandchildren.
Services are 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2014, at the Chapel of James H. Davis Funeral Home in Owensboro. Burial is in Rosehill Cemetery in Owensboro.
