Graveside services for Rudy V. Elledge, 88, of Longview will be held Saturday, Jan. 25, 1997, at 11 a.m. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg, TX. The Rev. Ted White will officiate the services.
She was born June 21, 1908, in Newlin, TX, to John Barber and Ada Black Barber. She passed away Jan. 22 in Longview, TX.
She is preceded in death by her daughters Delores Dean Shipley and Baby Girl Smith; parents, John and Ada Barber; sisters Dela Skidmore, Oleta Chejak, Daisie Bennett, Cleo Mattox, Ella Barber and two baby sisters; and a brother, Walter Barber.
She is survived by her daughter Margaret Louise Smith of Longview; sisters Thelma Smith of Alice and Dorothy Rodenberg of Odessa; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
