He was the son of Virgil and Ada Althiede-Rothrock, born on April 4, 1928, in Plymouth, Ind.
He is a 20-year retired Air Force/Vietnam veteran and later worked as a postal carrier for several years.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his children's mother, Lenora Clark; two brothers, Henry and Charles Rothrock; two sisters, Sue Short and Effie Bradley; and one infant grandchild, Wesley Hosier.
Donald is survived by his wife, Lorene Hart-Ray-Rothrock of Jonesboro; two brothers, Harley (Alma) Rothrock from Texas and Paul (Lesley) Rothrock from Indiana; three children, Karen (Dan) Roser from Pennsylvania, Leslie (Emily) Rothrock from California and Donna Hosier from Florida; one step-daughter, Loralee Hart from Jonesboro; 12 grand-children; two great-grand-children; and two step-grand-children.
Memorial services were held at North Main Baptist Church, Jonesboro.
