During Family research I have found his name transcribed many ways. Wendelinus, Wenden, Wendlen, R Ingman, Wendaline, Wendelin. At some point in the 1880's some of the family dropped the second n. His son Phillip kept it but and younger son John dropped it. Magdalena has Engmann on her stone but Engman in her Obit.
The Marshfield Interactive Viewer spells it Wendliend Engman. The actual stone is just Engmann.

Gravesite Details

Wendelin and Magdalena also had a daugther Theresa. b. March 6, 1874 d. May 28, 1877. We have not been able to find her grave. In 1880 the family lived in Polk Township, Washington County, Wisconsin
