Blonnie Alene Workman Edwards was born May 6, 1919 at Swan, Missouri. She was the daughter of John Ellen and Minnie Myrtle Clark Workman. Bonnie attended the Missouri State Teachers College; later know as SMS, in Springfield, Missouri. She graduated with a Bachelor of Art Degree in Teaching. Blonnie taught at Cedar Creek, Liberty, Middleton and Helphrey Schools in Missouri. After her marriage to Bliss Edwards on March 6, 1953 in Forsyth, Missouri, they moved to Kansas. While in Kansas Blonnie taught at the Ford and Bucklin Schools. They moved back to Taney County after she retired in 1985. Blonnie had been a school teacher for forty-one years.
Blonnie attended the Mincy Full Gospel Church in Mincy, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and two siblings Robert Workman and Bonnie Workman Colbert.
Blonnie is survived by her loving husband Bliss Edwards of the home and numerous family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday evening, from 6-7 PM in the Snapp-Bearden Funeral Home, Branson. Memorials may be made to the Edwards Cemetery, 7231 E. Hwy 76, Kirbyville, Mo. 65679.
