Nellie was a nurse all her life and loved helping people but most of all she was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her especially her husband, Lee Allen Lantz of Basile; her son, Leonard R. Lantz and wife, Denise of Ohio; two daughters, Darlene Lantz Richard and husband, Donald of Vancleave, MS and Jeanene Lantz Populis of Slidelle, LA; brother, Roland Richard and wife, Chole of Palmetto; a sister, Mary Jane Cordova and husband, Juan of Metairie. She was blessed with ten grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Sidney and Bernadette Leger Richard and several brothers and sisters.
At the request of the family, visitation will be held at Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Basile on Saturday, August 30th from 10:00 am until time of services.
