76, a retired cattleman and copper miner, died Saturday in the Gila General Hospital.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Walker's Globe Mortuary with a graveside service following at Globe Cemetery by a Veterans of Foreign Wars committee.
Born at Uvalde, Texas, Mr. Griner had lived in the Globe area since he was 2 years old. He served in World War I, and was later associated with the Old Dominion mines.
He is survived by his wife, Loreen; a half brother, Jess Teague of Winkelman; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Irvin of Safford, Mrs. Jane Adams and Mrs. Mary Ashby, both of Globe.
