The son of Moses Hall, Jr. and Sarah "Sally" Willey, Moses Wilder Hall married Eliza Hatch on Aug. 7th, 1852 in Manchester, New Hampshire, and to this union were born George W. (1854 - ?) and Sarah Florence (1860 - 1895) before Eliza's untimely passing at some point after Sarah's birth. Moses would marry again, to Chloe Almira Leet on Sept. 26th, 1867 in Danville, Québec Province, Canada, and to this second union were born Emma Abbie (1869 -1934), Alice Eldora (1871-1877), Bertha Pearl (1873 - 1953) and Irwin Wilder (1880 -1882). His own untimely death in 1886 was noted with the following entry by Rev. I. M. Thompson of the Church of England in Danville, as witnessed by wife Chloe, brother Willard and W. A. Elliott:

"Moses Wilder Hall of Nicolet Falls, Township of Shipton, farmer, aged fifty-six years, four months and six days, died on the twenty seventh, and was buried on the twenty ninth day of January, A.D. one thousand eight hundred and eighty six __By me, I. M. Thompson, Incumbent"
