Rose was born June 28, 1918 to Squire & Maud Gamber in Pringle, SD.
Rose enjoyed sewing, gardening, camping and always had a good joke to tell, she had a strong love for her grandchildren and step grandchildren. Rose came from a family of 14 children.

Rose Nellie Dunn, 87, died Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Tender Care Assisted Living in Spearfish, SD.

Survivors include one son, Edgar (Aileen) Burr of Spearfish and three step children Pat (Fred) Goff of Sturgis, Charlotte Lewin of Rapid City and Jimmy (Darlene) Dunn of Washington state, one sister, Mary Evelyne Alspach of Custer, one brother William (Jean) Gamber of Denver, Co., many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Rose was preceded in death by her parents, and eleven brothers and sisters, two husbands, James Dunn and Edgar Burr, two sons, Jack Burr and Albert Eugene Burr.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 Friday, January 27, 2006 at the Lead-Deadwood Funeral Chapel in Lead, SD with Rev. Steve Agan of the Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be at Mt Lawn Cemetery in Lead. There will be a luncheon at the Golden Hills Resort following the service. Rose will sadly be missed by the staff at Tender Care Assisted Living.
