She was born Feb. 14, 1940, in Pulaski County, Mo., to Hugh Hogue and Carrie McCulley Hogue.
On April 4, 1961, she married Everett "Buck'' West, who preceded her in death on Nov. 17, 1976. She also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Clint, on Feb. 3, 1985; a great-grandson, Jacob Timothy, on Feb. 18, 1998, and a brother, Paul Hogue.
She was a homemaker and an attended Assembly of God.
Survivors include a son, Monty West, of Lebanon; three daughters, Carla Scurlock and her husband, Tim, of Windyville; Cathy Case and her husband, Richard, of Brighton, and Tamira Elmore and her husband, Chuck, of Lebanon; a brother, Denny Cooper, of Sparks, Nev.; three sisters, Eva Payne, of Springfield; Pauline LaCroix, of Pineville, La. and Sharon Leautier, of Reno, Nev.; nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and other relatives.
Services for Anita M. West will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, March 1, 2006, at Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon with Shawn Dickerson and Kevin Boggs officiating.
Burial will be in Lebanon Cemetery, under the direction of Thieme-Shadel Funeral Service at Colonial Chapel of Lebanon.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Colonial Chapel.
A memorial has been established to the American Diabetes Foundation.
