Miss Huldah Ann Dunn was born Oct. 20, 1822 in Hartford, Pennsylvania, and was married to Joseph L. Tarbox in Hartford, Pa., Dec. 30, 1852. In 1865, they moved to Missouri and from there to Iowa where she lived till death called her home. Two daughters were born to them, the youngest, Mrs. L.L. Brough, preceded her to the spirit world November 5, 1883, and her Husband Mr. J. L. Tarbox, June 1, 1898. She was converted and joined the M.E. church when about 35 years of age, and was a constant Christian and when death called her, she said, "I am not afraid to die."

She was taken ill at her home in Plano, Sunday morning, March 19, with pneumonia and died Saturday, March 25th at 6:30 p.m.; aged, 76 years, 3 months and 5 days.

She leaves a sister, Miss Betsy Dunn who was living with her at the time, at the time of her death; a daughter, Mrs. Frank Await, of Plano, and two granddaughters, Jennie and Lena Brough, of Centerville. Funeral was preached at Plano by Rev. Colyer, of the M.E. church, text Hebrews 11-16, "For he hath prepared for them a city."
