Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hall Funeral Home for Wm. H. Heckerthorne, 65, with the Rev. Dale Woods, officiating and burial in the Billings cemetery.
Mr. Heckerthorne died of a self inflicted gunshot wound at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Victor Gransden. He was born in Gratiot county, September 5, 1890 and had lived in Gladwin county for the past 39 years.
Surviving are one son, William of Bay City; three daughters, Mrs. Florence Gransden of Gladwin, Mrs. Edna Elson and Mrs. Betty Stephenson of Midland, and 13 grandchildren. Gladwin County Record dated 6-6/1956
