Lizzie was the daughter of John Hogeland and Carrie King Hogeland. She married Frank Pfiester in 1894. Frank was born Feb. 14, 1871 in Mahomet, Ill. His father was Gottlob August Pfiester b. in Ger. and his mother was Christine Barbara Weiss or Weise also born in Ger.
Lizzie and Frank had two children Donald Ross b. Jan. 4, 1900 in Hensley, Ill. and Breta Elizabeth b. Sept. 5, 1905 in Hensley. Both children grew to adulthood and married. Donald married Edna M. Mitchell in 1922 and Breta married Robert Russell Quayle in 1930. She did not have any children and committed suicide in 1931.
Frank passed away Nov. 10, 1926 in Scott. Donald passed away on Dec. 1, 1923 and Breta on Feb. 20, 1931 and both were buried in Roselawn and Frank probably was as well.
