Funeral service for Albert C. Velie, 50, who died Wednesday in Tupper Lake were held Saturday at the Brown Funeral Home chapel.
The Rev. Winston Saunders, pastor of the First Methodist Church, officiated.
Bearers were Wendell Horvath, Alston Wilkins, Leon Daniels, Douglas Atkinson, H.S. Kiernan and Donald Ricketson.
Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, where the Rev. Saunders recited committal prayers.
