Archie Dean Swift III, 68, of Hedgesville, passed away Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, at his residence.
Born Jan. 13, 1946, in Philadelphia, Pa., he was the son of the Archie Dean Swift II and Rose Douglas (Baldi) Swift.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp.
He is survived by one son, Dean Swift and one daughter, Catherine Jennifer Bello; and two brothers, Douglas and Scott Swift.
Graveside services with military honors will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 24, 2014, at Washington Crossing National Cemetery at Newtown, Pa.
