DAVID WILLIAM (BILL) CUSHMAN A Memorial Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, August 26, 2014, 10:00 am at the Gridley Biggs Cemetery, 2023 Hwy 99, Gridley for David William (Bill) Cushman 94, of Gridley. He passed away August 21, 2014 at Larkspur Lodge in Oroville. He was born July 14, 1920 in Doniphan, Nebraska to Albert and Edith Cushman. David was a long time resident of Gridley, having owned and operated DW Cushman Trucking for over 65 years. Bill started his trucking experience at the age of 16. He worked cattle with his dad in Nebraska and continued with beef and dairy cattle throughout his life. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Mary Ernestine Cushman. He has one living brother; he is survived by his three daughters, Daveine (Leonard) Pasdera, Betty Jane (Dennis) Eastman, and Sandra (Dean) Moore, six grandchildren, 20 great- grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Frank Stenzel, family friend will officiate the service. Contributions may be made to Biggs United Methodist Church, Paradise Hospice, or
Alzheimer's Association
of Northern California. Arrangements are entrusted to Gridley Block Funeral Chapel in Gridley CA.
