‎ ‎ ‎ CALDWELL - Graveside services for Howard A. Carpenter, 70, Route1, Homedale, who died Tuesday at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Marsing-Homedale Cemetery by Mr. Don Baldwin, Followers of Christ Church, Caldwell, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.
‎ ‎ ‎ He was born Oct. 10, 1908, at Concordia, Kan. He moved to Oklahoma when he was 11 years old. He married Laura Cornelia Eells on June 12, 1929, at Beaver, Okla. They lived at Date, Okla., before moving to Marsing in 1935. He worked summers at a lumber mill in Oregon for 6 years before they moved to Homedale, where he farmed and ranched. They had lived there since that time.
‎ ‎ ‎ Surviving are his wife of Homedale; a sister, Della Sukdol of Laverne, Okla.; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister and two brothers.
