ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. JOSEPHINE GRANT;
Funeral Services Tuesday Afternoon At Old Auxvasse Church:

Mrs. Josephine Grant, age 44, died Monday morning at her home at 106 East Twelfth Street, Fulton, Missouri after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Old Auxvasse Presbyterian Church and the Reverend T. Watson Street will officiate.

Mrs. Grant was born January 12, 1902, in McCredie, Missouri, a daughter of Claude and Sarah (McCue) Berry.

Mrs. Grant is survived by her parents,; two children, Sarah May Grant and Garrett McCue Grant; two sisters, Mrs. Clarinda Hampton of McCredie, Missouri and Miss Evelyn Berry of Alton, Illinois.

Her husband, Garrett Grant, died about ten years ago.

Josephine Grant, age 44, of 106 East 12th Street, Fulton, Missouri, died at 8:30am on December 24, 1946 at her home.

Dr. John J. Brown, of Fulton, pronounced death caused by Obstruction due to Carcinomatosis and Carcinoma of the Right Breast. The informant was Mrs. Clarinda Hampton of McCredie.

Mrs. Grant was born January 12, 1902, in McCredie, Missouri, the daughter of Claude and Sara (McCue) Berry, both born in Callaway County. She was united in marriage to George Garrett Grant who preceded her in death on February 11, 1938. Mrs. Grant was a housewife.

Arrangements were under the care of Glen Y. Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton. Burial was in Old Auxvasse Presbyterian Nine Mile Church Cemetery.
