Sister Ada was born by Arthur and Lizzie Young Phelps. She was married to the late Van Nelson and they had one child Clarence who is also deceased. She later married the late Roy McKissack. She was a devoted member of Greater Bethlehem Pentecostal Church. She will always be remembered for "The Ol Ship of Zion" a song she truly loved. She also loved her poodles and goats. She was a truly sweet woman.
