Charles Wesley Hudson, 77, Perry township, farmer, died of apoplexy at his home near Gilead at 2 o'clock, Saturday afternoon. He had been suffering from heart disease for about a year.

Funeral services will be conducted in Enterprise church at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. The Rev. Victor Yeager will officiate and interment will be in Enterprise cemetery. The body was at the late residence.

Survivors include the following children: Mrs. Anna Kendall, Clyde Hudson, Homer Hudson and Paul Hudson, all of Roann; Mrs. Clara Harshman, of Peru; Frank Hudson of Claypool; John Hudson of Rensseleer; Vern Hudson of Macy; Mrs. Dorothy Truex of Chili, and Miss Olive Hudson and Oren Hudson both at home. Surviving also are 26 grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

Born in Miami county October 5, 1867, the deceased was a son of John Willard, Nancy Ann (Close) Hudson. He was married October 25, 1894, to Eva Murphy who died in 1941.
