THOMSON, Ga. - David Ray Dean, 40, of Twin Pine Road, Thomson entered into rest August 3, 2001. Interment will be in Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be J.W. Rabun, Wally Davis, Jeff Tyner, Jeff Irby, Charles Chalker, Keith Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will be the Men of New Providence Baptist Church. Mr. Dean was a native of Temple, Texas but had been living in Thomson for the past 29 years. He was employed by J.M. Huber Corp. and was a member of New Providence Baptist Church where he directed the music. Survivors include one daughter, Bethany Megan Dean, Thomson; one son, Matthew David Dean, Thomson; parents, John Dean and Christene Dean; three brothers, Dennis Dean, John W. Dean, Chris Dean, all of Thomson; three sisters, Cindy Amerson, Vickie Newsome, Johnnie Brown, all of Thomson.
