JoAnn Twenter, 81 of Pilot Grove died Monday August 18, 2014 at University Hospital in Columbia. She was born October 30, 1932 in Florence, Missouri the daughter of Joseph and Alberdean (Bramble) Kanenbley.
On August 29, 1953 she married her husband in Sedalia.
JoAnn and her husband owned Twenter Lumber Company in Pilot Grove for 35 years.
She was a member of St.Joseph Catholic Church and the St. Joseph's Alter Sodality.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, 2 children, one grandson, 5 great grandchildren one brother and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister Mary Duvel.
Funeral services will be at 10AM Saturday August 23 at ST. Joseph Catholic Church in Pilot Grove, with Father Phil Kane officiating.
