Ruby H. Lipsky, 64 of Seattle, a former Whatcom County resident, died Monday in Seattle.
Mrs. Lipsky was born Feb 18, 1921 in Wesby, Mont and came to Whatcom County in 1934 with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Evan Rogstad. She lived here for a short time, moving to Seattle 50 years ago.
She was a member of the Eagles in Seattle's Ballard district and of Bethany Lutheran Church in Seattle.
Her husband, Melvin, preceded her in death.
Survivors include a sister, Martha A. Lockridge of Ferndale; two brothers, Whymen Rogstad of Bellingham and Marvin Rogstad of Auburn; a stepson; a stepdaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 1 pm Thursday at Moles Funeral home with the Rev. Robert E. Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
