Dorothy was born at Upland, California on March 22, 1945 the daughter of Chester Louis Ames and Dorothy Frances (Huskerson) Ames.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy and Chet Ames, her son, Chad Smith, and her brother, John Ames.

Dorothy (Tina) Switzer, 69, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 20, 2014.

Memorial services for Mrs. Switzer will be held at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the First Baptist Church 1301 West Main in Collinsville with Pastor Tim Prock officiating.

Following cremation directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory, interment will be in the Dewey Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established and those who wish may send the contributions to the Baptist Children's Village, c/o First Baptist Church, 1301 West Main, Collinsville, Okla. 74021.
