Funeral services for Albert E. Schneider, 49, were held yesterday at 2:30 p.m. from the Goettsch funeral home with burial in Oakwood cemetery. The Rev. John Baumann officiated.
Mr. Schneider died last Monday at the Iowa State Sanatorium at Oakdale, la. He was born October 26, 1899, in Monticello and lived here all his life. His parents were Isaac Schneider and the former Louise Haeussler. Mr. Schneider graduated from Monticello High School and received a degree in pharmacy from the State University of Iowa. He is survived by four sisters: Mrs. Louise Field, Mrs. A. M. Maurice, Mrs. J. C. Bender, all of Monticello, and Mrs. Caroline Berry, of Blackwell, Okla., and two brothers, Carl Schneider and I. H. Schneider, Jr., both of Monticello. Pallbearers were: Irving Hintz, John Chapman, Wilbur Cartanp, Siegfried Guyan, Lynn Clark, and Don Sutherland, all classmates of Mr. Schneider.
