Clara E. Austin, 91, of Wildwood, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. Mrs. Austin was born October 24, 1922 in Mercer, Maine to the late Steven Elmer and Katherine Aubine (Ottis) Ladd. She retired from New Balance and had moved to Wildwood in 1996 from Norridgewock, Maine. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wildwood and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and loved her computer games. Survivors include her daughter, Roxann Henderson and son-in-law, Raymond Henderson of Wildwood, FL; 9 grandchildren, Terry Savage, Bruce Savage, Cathy Savage, Jeff Savage, Todd Savage of Oakland, ME; and Michael Savage of Thailand; Cj McGowan of Skowhegan, ME; Clarissa Henderson and Josh Henderson of Wildwood, FL; 12 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Austin are planned for the summer of 2015 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Augusta, Maine.
