Funeral services for Olene Rebecca Shelton, 47, of Hanceville were held Friday at Steppville Baptist Church. Rev. Jim Smith conducted the services and Moss Service Funeral Home directed interment in Hopewell Cemetery. She died on February 23, 1966 at Cullman Hospital. Surviving are her husband, James Henry Shelton; her daughters, Marie Shelton of the home and Othella Gober of Arab; her mother, Pearl Cobb of Hanceville; her brothers, Felix Cobb of Cullman and James Cobb and O'Neal Cobb, both of Garden City; and her sisters, Evelyn Bradford and Nora Ellen Cole, both of Garden City, and Louise Davis and Ruth Garner, both of Hanceville.
