George was born to his parents William Saunders Fuller and Anna Maria Ribble, on August 30, 1869 in Barry County, Michigan. His mother died less than a year later and George and his two sisters were raised by their mother's parents, Clinton Dewitt Ribble and Jane Burleigh. I think they were adopted by the grandparents. George went by the Ribble name for the rest of his life.- RW
