Dr. Herbert W. Bradley, Jr, MD Dr. Herbert W. Bradley, Jr. passed away in the company of his children and companion on December 21, 2009 at his home in Yuba City, CA. He was the third of four children born to Herbert and Chloe (Whallon) Bradley on Sept. 4, 1922 in Salmon, Idaho. He graduated from Salmon High School in 1940 and attended the university of Idaho, Southern Branch in Pocatello, Idaho for 2 years where he met and married Ramona Ward on March 27, 1942. He joined the U.S. Army Air Corps on Dec. 14, 1942 and served until March 3, 1946.

Dr. Bradley then attended the University of California at Berkeley finishing his pre-med studies. He then graduated from UC San Francisco Medical School in 1951. He performed his internship at City and County Hospitals and then residency at Ft. Miley Veterans Hospital in San Francisco. Dr. Bradley then moved to Yuba City with his family in the summer of 1954 and became a partner at the Marysville Medical Clinic practicing internal medicine for 35 years, until 1989 when he retired from active practice. Dr. Bradley passed his specialty boards in 1959. He was a member of the American Medical Association and the Yuba-Sutter Medical Association. He was a long time member of the Mexican-North American Medical Association and was elected president of that group in 1974. He was also a longtime member of the NRA.

Dr. Bradley is survived by his five children and his surviving grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister and his companion of 21 years. He has numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his parents, sister Eletha and Leila, and his wife of 42 years Ramona Ward Bradley. Dr. Bradley enjoyed traveling all around the world, visiting nearly every continent, North and South America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Australia and the Arctic, missing only Antarctic. His greatest joys were hunting and fishing with his family and friends. Per Dr. Bradley's requests, there will be no funeral or services.
