Mrs. J.Q.A. KEMP died at 10 o'clock Sunday morning at her home, 40 Broadway, of tumor of the stomach. She had been failing for several months, but was confined to her bed but four weeks, being carefully nursed by her daughter, Lillian, the only surviving member of the family.

Mrs. Kemp was the first of 10 children to die. The following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. L.I. Grove, Breathedsville; Mrs. Wm. H. Landis, Hagerstown; Chas. B., Greensberg; John and Edward and Misses Ellen, Mary and Vallie, Jefferson, Frederick County.

Funeral services took place at the house; interment was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
