While on the Nelson homestead farm in South Dakota, she raised three sons, Don, Romaine and Dean (deceased), and daughter Fleurette Rita.
After moving to Lewiston in 1961, she enjoyed many years of employment with the Idaho Department Store.
Opal was loved by many and was known for her sparkling personality and endearing sense of humor. A special thank-you to all who tended to her needs during these past few years.
Services will be Tuesday, May 29, with viewing at 10:30 a.m. and funeral at 11 a.m. at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, 633 Fifth Ave. in Lewiston. Remembrances may be sent to 1218 12th Ave., Lewiston, ID 83501.
