"Walter R. Brannon Sr., 80, passed away July 24, 1991. Born in Linden, W. Va., he had retired from the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. with 30 years service. Mr. Brannon had belonged to Joppa Lodge 666 F&AM and the Medina Chapter of Knights Templar. He is survived by his wife, Vada L; daughter and son-in-law, Betty M. and Jack Cook of Cuyahoga Falls; son, Walter R. Jr. of Brimfield; seven grandchildren; and 10 greatgrandchildren. Funeral service Saturday, 1 p.m., at the Eckard-Baldwin Funeral Home, Rev. Jimmie L. Ellis officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home TODAY, 4 to 7 p.m.; Joppa Lodge 666 will conduct Masonic services TONIGHT at 7. Memorials may be made to the Home Missionary Baptist Church, 1859 Ronald Rd., Akron."
