Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Kevin Phillips, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow in Clayton Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements are by Hass Funeral Home.
Emily "Kathryn" England was born Oct. 27, 1915, in the Thomas Community, near Clayton, to Arthur L. England and Maude C. Smith England. Kathryn graduated from Clayton High School in 1933 and married Hurshell I. Davidson on Dec. 13, 1933, in Boise City, Okla., and he preceded her in death on June 17, 1992.
She worked for the gas company in Clayton for 38 years before she retired.
Kathryn lived in Clayton all her life until she moved to Amarillo to be closer to her daughter 4 years ago. She was a lifetime member of First United Methodist Church in Clayton.
In addition to her husband and parents, Kathryn was preceded in death by two sisters, Ila Mae Browning and Maurine Adams.
Survivors include a daughter, Kitty Pagett of Amarillo; two sons, Dan Davidson and wife Phyliss of Austin, Texas, and Artie Davidson and wife Judy of Albuquerque; a very close family friend, Nancy Schnell of Amarillo; nine grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandchild and three on the way; two sisters-in-law, Mary Coulson of Oklahoma City, and Velma Lois Davidson of Loma Linda, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family suggests memorials be to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Drawer M, Clayton, NM 88415, the Alzheimer's Association, 508 Douglas Ave., Las Vegas, NM 87701 or Alzheimer's Association, 1400 Wallace Blvd., Amarillo, TX 79106.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
