In 1845 Wingate and Sarah moved to Andrew County, Missouri and Rev Wingate King began his ministerial work for the Methodist Episcopal Church. In 1856 the family moved to Richardson Co, then Nebraska territory. Accompanying them was Sarah's brother Anderson Miller and his family. Sarah died 11 Feb 1862 in Falls City, NE. On Aug 29, 1865 her husband Rev Wingate King remarried Martha Isabella Frazier in Parkville, MO, the daughter of George Frazier and Eleanor (Elliott) Frazier.
