"Fort Worth, Tex., March 24 - J. L Stone, aged 58 years, a watchman for the Missouri, Kansas and Texas Railway, was killed this evening at 6 o'clock, when he was struck by a railway engine at the crossing of the Katy Railroad on Magnolia avenue. His skull was crushed and he died instantly. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. J. E. Hutton of Fort Worth. Stoned lived at 605 East Leuda street. Funeral arrangements have not been announced".
