Stephen A. Bland, age 62 died Thursday, August 7, 2014 at the Paulding County Hospital, Paulding, Ohio shortly after admission
He was born December 12, 1951 in Paulding the son of Haldin “Bud” and Laura Jean (Stephen) Bland. He retired from BF Goodrich of Woodburn, Indiana and later from Bryan Custom Plastic of Bryan, Ohio. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Paulding V.F.W. Post #587 and the Paulding F.O.E. Post #2405.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Tuesday, August 12 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will be in Hedges Cemetery, Paulding, Ohio on Wednesday, August 13 at 2PM. V.F.W. Post #587 will conduct military graveside rites.
Visitation will be 3-8PM Monday, August 11 at Den Herder Funeral Home and one hour prior to services on Tuesday.
