Euna Acker Holcomb, 98, died Thursday, Sept. 6, 2001, in an Abilene hospital. Services are tentatively set for 10 a.m. Saturday in the Weathersbee Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Werth Mayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Belvieu Cemetery, under the direction of Weathersbee Funeral Home.

Mrs. Holcomb was born June 16, 1903 in Comanche County. She married Earl Holcomb in Rotan in 1953. Mrs. Holcomb was a nurse at the Callan Hospital for many years. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Rotan, VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Farm Bureau.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Alexander and Ellen Odom Acker; her husband; and a granddaughter.

Survivors are two son, B.R. "Bob" Allen of Granbury and Eddie Mack Allen of Denver City; three grandchildren; and two great- grandchildren.
