YOUNG MAN DEAD LITTLE GIRL DYING Crazy Deed of Love Sick Swain Is Recorded In Iowa.
SHENANDOAH, Iowa, Oct. 14.—Harley Bright, aged 24, son of a prominent business man of this place, is dead, and Miss Esther Cook, aged 15, his sweetheart, fatally wounded as the result of what is believed to have been murder and suicide by Bright.
The shooting occurred late this afternoon at the Bright home when nobody but the young man and Miss Cook were in the house. What led to the shooting is not known, but it is stated the couple quarreled over Bright’s attentions to another girl.
