From the obituary: Services for Ione Elizabeth Patterson McCauley, 97, of Garrison, were held Fri., Feb. 3 at 11 a.m. at the Garrison Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Walt Roberts and Rusty Durand, associate pastor of First Baptist Church, Garrison, officiating. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery in Garrison.Mrs. McCauley passed away Feb. 1 at Garrison Nursing Home. She was born Nov. 23, 1908 in Shelby County to Tolbert Lee Patterson and Mary Catherine Prince Patterson. She was a retired farmer adn co-owner of W.B. (Pete) McCauley & SOns Grocery & Feed Store in Garrison. She was a graduate of Center High School, a member of First Baptist Church in Garrison and a member of the Dorcus Sunday school class. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.B. (Pete) McCauley; son James Wilma McCauley; sister Iva Lee Patterson Bickham and brother Prince Patterson.Survivors include sons Robert Wayne (Bob) McCauley and wife Janis of Garrison and Wiley Hayden (Buzz) McCauley and wife Nelda of Canton, Texas and sister Jewel Fay Moore of Garrison.
