Robert Bowling, 28, tried to board a freight train while drinking, Saturday, fell between the cars and platform and his right leg was crushed. John Cooper, the next person to him grabbed him and held him to the ground till the last car passed.
The doctor amputated the leg above the knee. He never recovered from the shock and died Sunday at the home of his brother-in-law, Robert Thompson. He was buried in this cemetery.
