Marie M. Jahn, 80, died Monday, April 13, 1998, in Vancouver. She was born June 2, 1917, in Clements, Minn.

A Vancouver resident since 1968, Mrs. Jahn was a retired licensed practical nurse and had worked at Sacred Heart hospital in Eugene and Vancouver Memorial Hospital.

She was a member of Memorial Lutheran Church and a Sunday school teacher.

Mrs. Jahn was also a member of Lydia Guild, L.P.N. Association, Clark County Quilters and Volcano Lace Makers.

Survivors include her husband, Gilbert W., at home; two daughters, Judith Zimmerman of Springfield, Ore., and Sandra L. Burgstahler of Brush Prairie; one son, Gerald P. of Springfield; one sister, Hilda Wilkinson of Kent; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at Memorial Lutheran Church. A graveside service will begin at 12 p.m. Monday at Lane Memorial Gardens in Eugene.

The casket will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Lutheran Church, 2700 E. 28th St., Vancouver, WA 98661.
