An interesting tidbit: He must have been a wonderful man as, though he had no children of his own, his name was carried on through at least two more generations of his wife's family. Her brother, Frederick Harding Spencer, had a son named Myron Abbie Spencer and that Myron had a son named Myron Cadwell Spencer as well as a son named Manning Abbie Spencer.

Services Conducted by the Rev. R.S. Truesdale.

The funeral of Dr. Myron R. Abbe was held at Van Metre's undertaking parlors at 4.30 o'clock yesterday afternoon. Rev. R.S. Truesdale, pastor of the Green Street Methodist church, conducted the services.

The funeral arrangement[s] were in charge of Columbia lodge, No. 106, Knights of Pythias. The interment was in their lot at Elmwood cemetery.

Dr. Abbe died of pneumonia Saturday night. He was an office assistant to Drs. Gibbes and Deal.
Age: 52 yrs.
